New standard sandbox creation (about 5 min at 1.5x speed)

We have a sandbox (old/legacy) that we should start deploying to production environment. Is there a way to create a standard sandbox from the existing old sandbox? Thanks! -katta
Creating a new standard sandbox from an existing legacy sandbox is not supported due to missing foundational technology that is required for reliable deployments.

A lot of our client's emails and workflows failed to be copied over. The reason was stated as: "Unable to copy because it relies on a marketing email that no longer exists in production or isn't supported." And the related emails failed with the reason: "Unable to copy because it relies on an asset that isn't supported by the sandbox creation process." I'm assuming this is due to the emails using custom modules.
Does this sound accurate? If so, is there a plan to support custom themes/modules?
Hi @JTBuys - I'll dm you to get more details of the case you surfaced.
For now, it sounds like you were able to narrow down the likely reason why these emails failed to sync as being due to an unsupported dependency on custom modules.
And we can confirm it's an item we have on the roadmap!
