How to keep my HubSpot certifications if my portal is deactivated?

I received an email today saying if I don't log in by 1/29 that my certifications will be lost. When I log in, it says I don't have a portal and need to make a new account. I am doing this within an hour of receiving the email. I have until the 29th per the email but everything seems to be gone already. Chat told me I lost my free tier CRM on 1/21, which is fine, but can I keep my account with my certifications? How can I make sure this happens?

Hi @LGottschalk and thank you for sharing your experience and details.

If your CRM portal was deactivated, your certifications should remain accessible as long as you keep your Academy account active, logging in regularly helps ensure this.

Since you’re being prompted to create a new account, it might help to clear your browser cache or try logging in from an incognito window.

If you still cannot access your account, here are some options you can try:

- Recover your inactive HubSpot account
- Create a new account with another email address and transfer the HubSpot Academy certifications to this new account via this form.

I hope this helps!
